How it works
Exports
Before the goods leave your premises you will instruct AGCC to prepare an Export Declaration by providing a commercial invoice along with specific instructions for the shipment (e.g. Certificates or Licences). AGCC will also require information about the transport at the Border, such as the name of the vessel, the registration of the road truck or the details of the flight.
Imports -
Once you receive notification that a shipment is on its way or has already arrived (e.g. Bill of Lading or AirWay Bill) you will instruct AGCC to prepare an Import Declaration by providing a commercial invoice along with specific instructions with all the information they need to satisfy any prohibition and restrictions requirements (e.g. Certificates or Licences). This should also include all the commercial information for them to calculate your Duty and VAT (e.g. value of the goods, insurance, transport costs, royalties, etc) along with the origin of goods, incoterm (trade terms), commodity codes and net weights.
