Save the Date - Moray's Climate Change Conference - Friday 27 September

We are thrilled to be hosting our Climate Change Conference. This exciting event will round off a series of activities happening throughout the week as part of Scotland's Climate Change Week. Please save the date and join us for a day filled with inspiring speakers, engaging workshops, and visits to community projects!

We do have topics, speakers and workshops already, but are keen to hear your suggestions as well. If you have any ideas or know someone who would be a great addition to the program, please let us know!

Moray CAN Funding - Applications Open 8 July

Funding details:

• A total of £7,500 for seed grants available in this round
• An additional £20,000 specifically for nature projects
• Grants available are up to £200 for individuals and up to £2000 for constituted groups and organisations
• £27,000 allocated for commissioning projects

Applications will close 31 August. More detailed information will be shared soon.

As discussed in our last network meeting, we will have a panel to decide on applications this year. We are looking for network members to join this panel, so please let us know if you are interested in being part of this important decision-making process.

Scottish Government Visit to Moray

Last week we hosted members from the Scottish Government's Climate Change Department, on a visit to Moray. Feedback received was very positive indeed. They were very impressed with the initiatives and progress they saw here in Moray and thank you to those of you that helped host as well!
