Moray Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards 2024: Celebrating Innovation, Resilience, and Community

On Wednesday, 4th December 2024, the Moray Chamber of Commerce brought together businesses of all sizes and sectors to celebrate excellence at its Annual Awards Evening at The Stotfield Hotel, Lossiemouth. With a focus on innovation, celebration, and resilience, the event showcased the remarkable achievements of the local business community.
Hosted by Shan Saba, Director of Brightwork Recruitment and Moray Chamber of Commerce, and featuring an inspiring keynote address from Ruth Cochrane, Lead Academic at the Innovation School, Glasgow School of Art - Highlands and Islands Campus, the evening welcomed over 80 attendees. Businesses, partners, and guests gathered to recognise the outstanding contributions made across Moray and beyond.

Most Promising Enterprise Award
Highly Commended: Vapour by Speyside Labs
Joint Winners: GAP Consultancy and Management Ltd & Elgin Sports Community Trust
Peter Wilson Award for Corporate Social Responsibility
Winner: The Macallan and Glenrothes Distilleries
SME of the Year
Joint Winners: Hendersons Decorators & Pinz (Moycroft Group)
Special Recognition Award
Winner: Elaine Sutherland (Riverside Kitchens Ltd, Orrin Restaurant, and Cable Café)
Lifetime Achievement Award
Winner: George Goudsmit (AES Solar)
Moray Chamber President Kirsty Dagnan presented the awards, highlighting the resilience and innovation within the business community. Special tributes were paid to Peter Wilson, in whose honour the Corporate Social Responsibility award was renamed, and to Elaine Sutherland and George Goudsmit, whose contributions have left a lasting impact on Moray.
