This International Women’s Day the theme is Embracing Equity.
As a Chamber we recognise and respect that we are all individual, with our own paths, circumstances and qualities. The strength that comes from this awareness and being able to apply it to embrace each other, empowers us to be the best we can be.
It's not just something we say. It's not just something we write about.
It's something we need to consider, know, and embrace.
We can all truly embrace equity.
It's what we, as strong women believe in. Equity means creating an inclusive world. We can all play a part, each and every one of us can actively support and embrace equity within our own sphere of influence.

Equality versus Equity: What's the difference as we #EmbraceEquity for IWD 2023 and beyond?
Equality means each individual or group of people is given the same resources or opportunities.
Equity recognizes that each person has different circumstances, and allocates the exact resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome.
