HMRC - Pay and Tax tips for apprentices

As part of National Apprenticeship Week (10 to 16 February 2025), HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is sharing top pay and tax tips with apprentices.
Apprentices are being encouraged to check their pay to see if they are being paid the correct National Minimum Wage (NMW).
Apprentices under the age of 22 can also check if they have an unclaimed Child Trust Fund savings account. By downloading and accessing the HMRC app, workers will have access to all their personal tax information with a couple of swipes.
HMRC has created a helpful video to support apprentices with the NMW.
