Even with the best laid plans, life doesn’t always go as we’d hope. Join experts from leading independent law firm Harper Macleod to discuss how to manage life-changing events such as when a loved one dies or if we fall out with our neighbours.

On 13 September Harper Macleod will host a lunchtime event with a range of experts who can help when life doesn’t go as planned.

Over a bite to eat and a coffee we’ll tell the story of the Harkness family, our fictional couple who haven’t had their troubles to seek. The family is faced with unexpected loss, matrimonial difficulties, trouble at work and a row with their neighbours.

Legal advice can often seem a little abstract, which is why we’ve decided to tell their story to help explain what might happen to you if you find yourself in a similar situation.

Facing up to the facts and practicalities of these events, we’ll guide you through how we would advise the family on the issues with DIY wills, employment and neighbour disputes, and divorce.
