Findhorn Bay Arts - 2024 Festival Evaluation and Outcomes

Findhorn Bay Arts released its full 2024 Festival Evaluation and Outcomes report, marking the success of the 5th Findhorn Bay Festival and firmly putting Moray as a visitor destination for all cultural lovers.

Over ten days, 260 artists made creative things happen and we presented 60 ticketed shows and free events (comprising 119 individual performances and exhibitions). Attracting a total audience of 8,986, with around 58% of attendees from Moray, 34% from the rest of Scotland, 5% from elsewhere in the UK, 2% international and 1% unknown.
The festival attracted an overall attendance of 10,565 across audience members, creative programme, participants, artists, volunteers and staff. Over £687,000 was brought back into the local economy - £515,355 through a combination of estimated visitor spend and £171,847 from the allocation and local spending of the festival and associated project budgets. Local hospitality providers noted increased footfall and a boost in economic activity during our ten-day event.
