EVENT | Hiring Military is Good for Business

Employer Engagement Day on Wednesday 15th March at Hampden Park, from 10am – 1pm followed by lunch and networking until 2:45pm
Scottish Government in partnership with Veterans Scotland with a number of partners are hosting this event for businesses in Scotland to give them an understanding of the benefits hiring a veteran can bring to their business.
Many employers are now targeting talented, skilled and passionate veterans to fill roles within their organisations. Not only is this good for business, it’s also good for the economy.
The event will allow employers to come together to learn how they can hire veterans and also be equipped with the tools to support their recruitment process thanks to the roll out of a brand new website dedicated to supporting businesses wanting to tap into this veteran resource.

Join a wide range of speakers and stakeholders from businesses, government, the MOD, charities and veterans themselves to learn how you as employers can benefit from the numerous skills of ex-military personnel and how they can bring value to your business.
