18 May 2016 • Sarah Medcraf
Elgin: Tuesday 21 June 2016 (12.00 - 2pm) - Laichmoray Hotel, Elgin
Stronachs’ employment law specialists are hosting a seminar on handling redundancies/reorganisations and dealing with tricky misconduct situations. With an emphasis on the practicalities, the event will include talks, together with working examples and plenty opportunity to ask questions. With the economic recovery progressing slowly, many businesses will need to consider making redundancies or implementing restructuring arrangements. This can involve taking hard decisions but the right advice can take some of the stress and strain out of the process - not to mention reducing the threat of disputes and Tribunals further down the line. Although often less technical, misconduct situations can throw up headaches of their own, particularly when combined with capability issues. When handled with appropriate support and guidance, problem situations can be addressed swiftly, with the risk of any future successful claims minimised. Places are free and lunch will be available but please book in advance by emailing: Diane.Young@stronachs.com or telephoning 01463 713 225.
