Buckie-based J.P. Pozzi Scoops Award

The Scottish Local Retailer Awards took place on the 7th September celebrating their 20th anniversary dinner. The awards, which took place in Glasgow, celebrated excellence across the country.
J.P.Pozzi, locally known as ‘Pozzis’ was awarded the Newstrade Retailer of the Year after the judges visited the store on two different occasions.
David Robertson, owner, said; “We were proud to receive this award again, it is a true reflection of all the work that goes in to make a small business work.”
He continued: “Thanks to all the staff who support mum and I and especially the drivers and paperboys / girls who do so well delivering the news in all weathers.”
“With the recent passing of HM Queen Eliazbeth II, we have seen how newspapers can provide brilliant coverage and commentary of world events. While this category is challenging, a newspaper is still a huge part of the daily events.”
The evening celebrated 16 other awards including Team of the Year and Refit of the Year. The awards were subject to the judging of ten industry representatives.
