Ava Innes named as finalist in Business of the Year at the Women's Enterprise Scotland Awards!

2 September 2024 • Sarah Medcraf

Ava Innes (Bespoke Fabrics Ltd) is thrilled to announce that the company has been named a finalist for Investment Business of the Year at the Women's Enterprise Scotland Awards!

In December 2023, Ava Innes successfully completed its first round of investment, a significant milestone achieved thanks to the unwavering support of Chairman Craig Samuel and Directors Lucinda Bruce-Gardyne and Alex Johnston. The company extends its deepest gratitude to its investors for their continued confidence and to the committed team that brings their vision to life.

Ava Innes is on an exciting journey, dedicated to helping people sleep soundly with their unique temperature-regulating duvets and luxurious natural sleep accessories. This recognition comes at an opportune time, as the company is currently in the midst of its second funding round, with continued support from Kelvin Capital.

Congratulations to all the finalists! The Ava Innes team is looking forward to celebrating in Glasgow with fellow champions of female entrepreneurship and leaders of remarkable businesses.

As a growing business we were delighted to bring investors into the business in December 23, when we appointed Chairman Craig Samuel and Board Director Lucinda Bruce-Gardyne, Founder of Genius Foods.

Bringing experienced entrepreneurs into Ava Innes has helped immensely. Their insights, strategic thinking, and wealth of experience have accelerated our growth and helped open doors to new opportunities. They’ve been through the ups and downs, and their guidance has been invaluable in helping us navigate challenges and grow with confidence.

Please do get in touch if you would like to get involved (or become an investor) as we continue to champion sleep health, through our unique duvets and cashmere products.
