The HR Dept is a HR and employment law practice supporting clients in Moray with HR and employment law matters.
What are the benefits to operating in Moray?
The SME community in Moray is vast and thriving. Running an HR and employment law practice in the Moray region of Scotland offers several unique advantages due to the strong community networks, and wide mix of small to mid-sized businesses. SME’s often require HR and employment law support to navigate regulatory requirements, employee relations, and organisational development. Many SME’s lack internal HR or legal departments, creating demand for external expertise, making us well-placed to support businesses with services like HR compliance, employee training and development, and dispute resolution.
How do you connect to your local customers?
Being based within the region helps the HR Dept keep closely connected to our customers. When customers need our support urgently, we can be there when they need us. We have a strong digital presence which helps us connect to customers across the region, we engage closely with our local business community through different business groups and in doing so we have quickly built trust in our expertise across the local business community.

We are impressed with the Chambers diverse range of business activities and events. Clearly the close-knit business community of members allows us to establish personal connections and build strong relationships with ease. Very quickly we are becoming a trusted partner to many chamber members and local businesses and the team at Moray Chamber of Commerce have supported us in doing so through making introductions and increasing our visibility.
What are you most proud of?
We are proud to partner with many successful, local businesses who regard us as their trusted HR partners. We have developed long lasting business relationships and have obtained many successful client testimonials which have not only led to further work but ongoing referral opportunities and recommendations.

The cost!
HR outsourcing can be highly cost-effective, especially for small and medium-sized businesses and start-ups that may not have the resources or need to support a full in-house HR team. The cost-effectiveness of HR outsourcing depends on the specific needs of the business, the range of services required, and the scale of operations.
