At Greenbrae Steading we are all about helping our community to thrive. We love getting people together and helping small business to grow. Nestled in between Hopeman and Burghead with stunning views over the Moray Firth, our carefully restored Steading offers professional office and event facilities in a relaxed and rural setting.

What are the benefits to operating in Moray?

Our business is based just outside Hopeman on the beautiful Moray Coast - the location is really inspiring! There are so many amazing small businesses in Moray - we are delighted to be part of such a thriving small business community

How do you connect to your local customers?

Through our social media accounts (Facebook/Instagram) - I send out regular newsletters. We really want to be seen as part of the local community and our doors are always open for a tour or a chat over a cuppa if you have an event idea you want to chat to us about. We keep not just our members but anyone who is interested in finding out what’s going on up to date via our monthly newsletter, our Facebook and our Instagram accounts which are updated regularly so please give us a follow. We hold events regularly and cover a wide range of topics from health and well being to brand and marketing to evening dining and afternoon teas. Our makers and craft workshops are proving really popular too. We are always open to suggestions from members and the community about the types of events they’d like to see us hosting.

Why are you part of Moray Chamber of Commerce?

We want to grow our business and see the value in being part of different networks. It’s also good to know that support is available from the Chamber.

What are you most proud of?

Our growing community of small business owners who use Greenbrae Steading to grow their business and to make connections.

Finally, name one misconception that people have about your business.

Although we do have a growing community of small business owners, you don’t actually have to own your own business to be a member or to enjoy the events we put on here at Greenbrae. We have several members who work at home as an employee for a company and just want to meet people/escape the dog/get away from the kitchen table! We’re also an ideal venue for community events and small private celebrations - it’s not all about business…
