Applications Now Open for the Prestigious Moray Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Awards

Moray Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that applications are now open for the highly anticipated Annual Business Awards. This event celebrates the outstanding achievements and successes of businesses within the region, recognising innovation, dedication, and contribution to the local economy.

Businesses of all sizes and sectors across Moray are invited to submit their applications to be considered for the following award categories:

Most Promising Enterprise - Celebrating the achievements of a young business (operating for 3 years or less) that has shown exceptional promise and potential. (Under 50 employees)

SME of the Year - This award recognises a business that has demonstrated outstanding overall performance, growth, and sustainability.

The Peter Wilson Award for Corporate Social Responsibility - Honouring a business that has made significant contributions to the community and the environment through responsible business practices.

Lifetime Achievement Award - This Award honours a business personality for their sustained achievements and longevity, recognising their distinguished career within the business community.

As well as these awards, Moray Chamber of Commerce presents its Main Business Award at its sold-out Annual Dinner in September at Gordon Castle. This award recognises a business that has significantly contributed to the Moray economy over the last 12 months. All the awards presented by the local Chamber of Commerce showcase the diversity of talent and industries across our fantastic region.

The application process is now open, and businesses are encouraged to submit their entries by Monday 30th September. To be eligible for consideration, businesses must either be located within the Moray region or be a member of the Moray Chamber of Commerce.

The Moray Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Awards ceremony will take place on the 4th December 2024 at the Stotfield Hotel, Lossiemouth, where the winners will be announced and all businesses will be celebrated.

Sarah Medcraf, CE of Moray Chamber of Commerce said: “Our business awards are back for 2024 and we’ve for categories to suit all businesses from new businesses to keeping money in Moray. We welcome applications from across Moray, you don’t need to be a member to apply, and the winners will be celebrated at our festive evening in December. Don’t delay, head online and submit your application form”.

This is an incredible opportunity for businesses in the Moray region to gain recognition for their hard work, dedication, and contributions to the local community. The awards not only celebrate success but also serve as an inspiration for other businesses striving to achieve excellence.

Tickets for the Awards Evening will go on sale early October. So, join us in celebrating our vibrant and thriving business community, as we recognise and respect the remarkable achievements of our local businesses.
